One vacuum that does it ALL.... Yes please! Hard floors, low pile rugs, high pile rugs, SHAG rugs you name it! This Dyson model is a BEAST, literally the MOTHER of all vacuums. Not only does it do all floor types, but also comes with the perfect attachments; small crevice, duster (game changer), small roller brush for couches & upgolstey, & long crevice! Don't even get me started on the dirty canister size, it's MASSIVE! 10/10 from me, & you know I'm a HARD critic!
Happy Monday! So far today I woke up, went to the gym from 5:30-6:30am, made the kids breakfast, cleaned for an hour, helped Quinn with homework, made the kids lunch, did a Target pick up order, and did my daily chores. & I've been fasting this entire time, so ready to sit, catch up on some emails, and have some lunch!
Don't be fooled by name brand expensive cleaners, you don't need them! Mix together 1 cup white vinegar & 1 tosp dawn dish soap in a spray bottle. Spray vigorously, let sit for few, then scrub away! Make sure to take those before & after pictures! Happy cleaning, love ya!
Did you know these were a thing? These “books” come in a 4 or 7 pack, and wayyy cheaper than using real books. Full shelving decor reel coming soon! 💐
Take five minutes and clean your oven door today! Easy Off spray is powerful, I recommend laying a towel below your oven door this way it doesn’t get on your floors. For doing a complete oven deep clean, preheat your oven to 350, once preheated turn off. Then spray the Easy Off, let sit for 10 minutes, then simply wipe down, or scrub depending how bad it is. Rinse with a damp microfiber cloth.
That’s it. Happy Cleaning!

2023.. you were so good to me, 2024 LETS GO!!
I'd love to know what year you joined me here! 2023, 2022? Earlier?
I cannot wait to see where 2024 takes us here!!
Love you, mean it!
Should kids have chores? ABSOLUTELY! But it in a positive, age appropriate way! I start around age 3-4 with a simple & fun chore chart. Adding things they should already be doing, brushing their teeth, brushing their hair, getting dressed, and attempting to make their bed. Does it have to be perfect, absolutely not.
Whats most important is building that positive relationship with taking care of ourselves and our home. "Perfection" will come in time. Celebrate the act of trying, especially at such a young age! And do NOT go back and fix their bed if they
"made" it. They will notice and will then notice they didn't do it good enough. Leave it be. :)
It's so important to lead with example and show caring for yourself and home. Show those expectations but never never never punish with doing them.
By punishing a child with doing chores you are now associating doing chores with a negative emotion. Who wants that?? Certainly not me. And I promise that negative feeling towards chores will be forever embedded in them.
Did you do chores as a kid?
My top 5 most used, most loved life changing cleaning gadgets of 2023!
Let's get more organized in 2024, these simple acrylic containers that are adhesive are perfect for behind cabinet doors for extra storage & organization!
Did you know if you use dish pods, like I do, you throw them to the bottom of your dishwasher when running it. Don't put them in the detergent "spot", that's for powder only and won't dissolve correctly. The more you know.
